Junior Culinary Boot Camp - Ages 10-14

Are your tweens and teens ready for the challenge to develop their abilities and take on the kitchen single handedly? In this fun, four-day camp, young chefs will practice essential kitchen skills and master the fundamentals of cooking. Kids will enjoy working alongside classmates learning techniques. This cooking camp include full meals each day. In most sessions, we will "cook" our way around the World or around the United States through international recipes. We will prepare and eat foods from different regions, always made with fresh ingredients (most of our produce is locally grown, organically in Napa Valley). Participants will be exposed to the fundamentals of cooking and will be shown techniques in plating and garnishing. As a final activity, students will have a cooking challenge similar to the TV series "Chopped" to showcase techniques they learned from the previous days. This class is open to ages 10 to 14.
